IMPORTANT NOTE: The safest rug pads for radiant heat floors are ones that do not contain glues, chemicals or adhesives as these can stick to the floor and cause damage. Our Superior rug pad contains only recycled felt and our Ultra Premium rug pad contains recycled felt and natural rubber. The rubber is attached to the felt through a heat pressing process, eliminating the use of glues or adhesives. Since our rubber is not sprayed with an adhesive like many others are, there is no transfer to or sticking to the floor.

Superior felt rug pad for radiant heat floors
Made of 100% recycled felt jute, Superior rug pad is completely safe under rugs on all radiant heat floors. Needle punched felt is compressed into a dense 3/8 of an inch pile to prevent premature wear to area rugs as well as radiant heat floors. This rug pad does very well for room size rugs or under rugs with furniture on them. Since there is no rubber in Superior rug pad, it should not be used under smaller rugs that tend to slip.

Composed of a felt jute surface and a natural rubber bottom, Ultra Premium is an excellent non slip rug pad for use on radiant heat floors. The natural rubber is a solid layer of real rubber, not a sprayed on latex or imitation rubber that can harm your radiant heat floor. Ultra Premium rug pad for radiant heat floors prevents premature wear to your rug and protects all hard floors from scratches and damage.
Best Rug Pads for Radiant Heat Floors
The most important thing to know about rug pads that are safe for radiant heat floors is that you should only use a felt jute or natural rubber on your floor. Avoid any rug pads that contain pvc, polyester, nylon or any type of imitation rubber. These will eventually melt and stick to your radiant heat floor. The natural rubber in our Ultra Premium rug pad will not melt on radiant heat floors and our Superior felt jute rug pad does not contain anything that can react negatively with your radiant heat floors.
