The Surface
Needle punched recycled jute is densely compressed with a slight texture to grab and hold your rug. The density helps in protecting the back of your rug from premature wear as well as resisting furniture penetrating through to the floor and causing possible indentations.
The Backing
A solid layer of real rubber is sewn on to the jute to create stability and longevity. Because ours is a solid rubber permanently attached to the jute, it will not break down and harm floors like pads with a sprayed on latex or "rubber like" material. The rubber consists of a unique pattern which allows more rubber to grip to more floor, hence providing the ultimate in a non slip pad.

Great product- our Oriental rug is in our (kitchen-high traffic area) with hardwood floors. it was always slipping until we used this pad. the perfect size and it added great comfort as well as a slip-proof surface for our rug! Thanks a lot for the great service folks !!!!!!!

Great for flatweave rugs!

I needed a cushion under our needlepoint rug and I also needed a non slip feature. I was told the Ultra Premium grabs the rug and holds to the floor. Pad arrived cut 5 inches less at my request (no extra charge) and it is wonderful!! I am now planning for the rest of my rugs.
