NOTE: If your rug slips, choose Ultra Premium, otherwise Superior is the choice.

Ultra Premium for Non-Slip
Ultra Premium rug pads are a great choice for sound insulation along with a non-slip function for rugs that slip. The 1/4 inch dense jute and rubber combination can absorb extra noise and sound to make walking through your room quieter. Use Ultra Premium if noise AND slipping are an issue.

Superior for Rugs that don't Slip
For those rugs that do not require a non slip rug pad, our Superior is a top choice for sound insulation. Just shy of a 1/2 of an inch thick, densely compressed jute absorbs as much sound as possible, making it quiet under even active conditions. If slipping is not an issue, like for larger or heavier rugs, then Superior is the best choice for noise reduction.
