We make sure they do not contain any foreign, dangerous substances that can harm the rug, the floor and the environment. Many rug pads, especially ones already cut and bagged, can contain substances that can harm the air, the rug and the floor. Ours are clean for the air, safe for the floor and protect rugs as they should.

Say NO! to Plastics Ever heard stories about the rug pad damaging the floor or smelling like chemicals? Most non-slip rug pads are made of some sort of plastic that is coated with an adhesive to make it non-slip. The problem is that this adhesive transfers to certain floors and can cause much damage. This adhesive also out-gasses, causing a chemical-like smell in the room. Our non-slip rug pads contain natural, untreated rubber, non-slip by nature, without the need for plastics, chemicals or adhesives.   Say NO! to Glues, Chemicals and Adhesives Many rug pads contain glues or adhesives. Some felt rug pads contain glue on the top and bottom surfaces to keep the fibers together. Ours is a dense needle punched process that compacts the fibers together without the use of glues or adhesives, hence no odor. Other non-slip rug pads attach a rubber or rubber-like substance to the felt with glue. Ours consists of a natural rubber that is heat pressed to the felt without glues or adhesives. Rug pads with such substances can out-gas, causing unhealthy odors, and can stick to and damage the floor. Say NO! to Already Cut and Bagged Rug Pads Many stores take the easy way out by offering rug pads that are already cut, folded within themselves many times and packaged waiting on a shelf. This is not what we believe in. Our rug pads are made for us in 6' and 12' rolls that we cut each order from only when we receive the order. By stocking the actual rolls of rug pad, we assure the quality is to our standards, we avoid stubborn fold lines that can harm rug and floor and we are able to custom cut to exact rug size at no extra charge.   All Rug Pad Corner rug pads are made for us and made in The USA, never with chemicals, glues, plastics or adhesives.
