IMPORTANT NOTE: The safest rug pads for radiant heat floors are ones that do not contain glues, chemicals or adhesives as these can stick to the floor and cause damage. The rubber is attached to the felt through a heat pressing process, eliminating the use of glues or adheisves. Best Rug Pads for Radiant Heat Floors The most impiortant thing to know about rug pads that are safe for radiant heat floors is that you should only use a felt jute or natural rubber on your floor. Avoid any rug pads that contain pvc, polyester, nylon or any type of imitation rubber. These will eventually melt and stick to your radiant heat floor.
