All of our rug pads are shipped in one piece!
We sometimes receive calls from customers asking us if our rug pads are shipped as one piece or two pieces, particularly on orders of 6'x9' and larger. Many customers mention that when shopping for rug pads, particularly for room size rug pads, that the stores they visit often offer rug pads up to a certain size. The sales people at these stores then tell the customer to buy two rug pads and place them next to each other under the rug.
Our rug pads, from scatter size to mansion size, all come in one piece. Since we carry the actual 12' rolls of rug pad, any rug pad 12' wide and under is cut from the roll as one piece. In the event that an order calls for a rug pad size wider than 12', then we do the cutting and attaching in our warehouse and you receive it as one piece.
This is just one more reason why it is best to stay away from rug pads that are offered as already cut and packaged. Many stores try to save space and money by offering rug pads in packages and this limits the sizes available as well as the quality available. The better quality rug pads are only offered in the actual rolls and less and less stores are stocking the rolls of rug pad.
