Q: I would like to know if anyone has used this rug pad on radiant heat floors? Any comments?
Asked on 3/15/10 by Samuel

A: I am using a 9'x12' of the Superior rug pad on my living room radiant heat hardwood floor and all is well. It is great since there really is no rubber or latex and I was impressed at how well the heat passes through the rug pad. Excellent for heated floors.

A: I was looking for a comfortable rug pad and this one is great! It is about 3/8 of an inch thick and very nice to walk and sit on.

A: My kids are always on the floor in our family room and I will definitely say that this rug pad makes all the difference in the world as far as comfort. It seems to be thick enough to give the rug life and the floor comfort yet not too thick to cause any obstacles. Highly recommended!

A: I know what you are going through...been there!! I bought three of these rug pads and gave them to my upstairs neighbors. The difference is amazing. Once in a while I may hear a muffled sound but nothing like the racket of before! Yes, I do know this rug pad works for noise. They even thanked me for making their rugs more comfortable!

Q: I want to buy this Superior rug pad but I think my rug may slip. Does anyone know how the slipping factor is with this pad? Please advise.
Asked on 3/5/10 by James of Dallas, TX

A: I ordered 4 of these for my rugs and one rug slips all the time. As amazing as this pad is for rugs, it is not a non slip pad. It is stated as such on the site and I missed it! Oh well, I called the company and they happily swapped it our for the Ultra Premium, a comfortable and non slip rug pad. The Superior is amazing but not to stop slipping. The Ultra Premium we received works exceptional and is comfortable.
Answered on 3/8/10 by Kimberly of Chicago, IL
A: Hello. If you are looking for a rug pad to prevent slipping, usually for smaller rugs, then the Superior is not appropriate. This rug pad is perhaps one of the best for rugs that don't tend to slip, such as room size rugs or rugs with furniture on them. Our Ultra Premium provides cushion, support, protection and prevents slipping.
